Anne Collins is a writer of poetry, fiction, essays and
reviews. Her first collection of poetry is a chapbook, The
Season of Chance,(Walleah Press) available from Hobart
Bookshop.
In 2003, the Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services commissioned Anne to write the story of public housing in Tasmania, and in 2004 she was the recipient of an Arts Tasmania grant. In 2005, she was writer in residence at the Moonah Arts Centre. She's currently working on a series of reflections about Tasmania to celebrate living on the island for the past 27 years.
