Born in Lyon, France, Dr Christiane Conesa-Bostock
has lived in Hobart for many years.
Her
poetry, prose and reviews
have appeared in a wide variety of publications
in Australia and France.
Her continuing
literary interests include writing the
migration experience, teaching Writers'
Workshop at Rosny College and organising,
in association with the Tasmanian Writers'
Centre, an annual literary event where
young writers present their work at the
Zum Café at Salamanca
in Hobart.
She also serves on the board of The
Craft, an online publication
that seeks to further the
art and science of independent scholarly
publication. The Craft publishes technical
pieces
on scholarly communication, sociological,
political, and
economic analysis of the scholarly communication
system,
and other scholarly work directly related
to independent
scholarly publication.
