TIDAL WAVE
Two seas converged
in their rhythmic flow.
The waters rose
churning
swelling
engulfing
powerfully
crashing
earth's edges
crushing rock in the undertow.
We rode our windsails
on that tidal wave
then rested on high dunes.
Broken treasures from the depths
are strewn upon the beach
entangled in seaweed
soon to be washed away
in the tempered sea.
