Green Glass Day

green glass were the slow waves cresting on the shore milk-blue low sky gold sun netted in clouds cold the sand in the carved dunes damp with the winter day and gulls wheeled in the egg-blue sky white breasts softly curved and the green waves curled white the breasts of the girl in the arms of the boy with green eyes and the sun's gold caught in his hair cold the sand in the carved dunes where close the lovers lay and gulls wheeled in the egg-blue sky white breasts softly curved and green glass were the slow waves cresting on the shore
