2006 competitions:

Short story competition:

5 November 2006: Due to family bereavement exactly four months ago when our 21-year-old son died, we feel we are not able to manage to organise, run, and judge a short story competition this year, especially as we both still have to work at our day jobs in addition to being writers ourselves.

I realise this will be a disappointment to those who were preparing to enter the competition, but we can do little else. Thank you.

Poetry competition: the poetry section of our competition will not be held this year.
